FOPEC Education Consultants and FOPEC Tech Solutions (U) Ltd offer Resource Center Training for schools across Western and Central Uganda. This service helps school leaders, teachers, and librarians set up and run a vibrant resource centre that supports teaching, reading, and research. We cover practical topics such as cataloguing, shelf arrangement, book care, borrowing systems, and using digital tools to manage resources. The training is hands on and tailored to your school's level, whether you are starting a new centre or improving an existing one. Our trainers work with your team on site or at our Fort Portal base. We help you create simple policies, train staff on day to day operations, and show how to link the resource centre to the curriculum. Schools learn how to encourage reading culture, support project work, and make the centre a busy hub for learners and teachers. We also cover low cost ways to grow your collection and keep records accurate. By the end of the training, your team will be able to run the resource centre with confidence.
